Inspired by the visual effects of kaleidoscopes, Teoman has created a table that evokes childhood memories and sparks the imagination. What sets Kaleidoscope apart is its unique design. Underneath the glass top, you'll find mirrored triangles that create a fun and psychedelic experience for anyone seated at the table. The reflections and patterns formed by these triangles add an element of surprise and delight to any gathering.

The realization of this design is a testament to Teoman's craftsmanship and attention to detail. The table is made in three main stages. First, the legs are crafted using brass metal lathe, adding a touch of elegance and sophistication. Next, the wood structure is meticulously created with the help of CNC technology, ensuring precision and durability. Finally, the glass top and mirrors are carefully crafted to fit seamlessly into the design.

With dimensions of 3000mm x 1200mm x 790mm, Kaleidoscope is a statement piece that demands attention. Its presence not only enhances the interaction with the object itself but also transforms the surrounding lighting. When lights are directed towards the table, they reflect off the mirrored triangles, creating a stunning display of light and shadows on the ceiling.

The journey of Kaleidoscope began in January 2015 and was first presented as a concept in April of the same year on Designboom. It made its official debut in November at the EXD 15, Portuguese Design Biennial in Matosinhos. The design process involved extensive research into creating a table that would not only be functional but also bring joy and excitement to those who interact with it.

One of the main challenges faced during the creation of Kaleidoscope was bringing the concept to life. Teoman had a clear vision in mind, but translating that vision into a tangible object required creative problem-solving and technical expertise. The result is a design that is not only visually stunning but also a testament to the designer's dedication and passion.

The ‘Kaleidoscope’ table's surface bursts with a rainbow of fractured, reflected light. The main structure is made of cherry wood with a varnished finish, adding warmth and sophistication to the design. The table legs can be customized in brass, copper, aluminum, or other RAL lacquers, allowing for personalization and easy interchangeability by users.

Kaleidoscope has received recognition for its outstanding design. It was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in the Furniture Design category in 2016. This prestigious award is given to designs that demonstrate exceptional creativity, innovation, and technical expertise.
